Majek Fashek Biography

Majekodunmi Fasheke, popularly known as Majek Fashek (pronounced as Ma-je-ko-dun-mi Ifa-kii-she-eke ), is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is best known in his home country for the 1988 album Prisoner of Conscience, which included the multiple award-winning single "Send Down the Rain". Also known as The Rainmaker.

Born on 7th March, 1963 in Benin City to an Edo mother and an Ijesha father, but identifies with his Benin roots. Various translations of his name Fasheke (Ifa-kii-she-eke) include "high priest who does not lie", "powers of miracles" and "(system or medium of) divination does not lie" After his parents separated Fashek remained in Benin City with his mother, and soon joined the choir in his local Aladura church and learned to play the trumpet and guitar whilst composing songs for the choir.

In 1988, shortly after Jastix disbanded Fashek, who now used the name Majek Fashek, signed with Tabansi Records and began a solo career by releasing the album Prisoner of Conscience and quickly became Nigeria's top reggae artist after the song " Send Down The Rain " became the most popular song of the year, and in 1989 he won six PMAN awards for "Song of the Year", "Album of the Year", and "Reggae Artist of the Year" among others. Fashek's next album was
I&I Experience which was released in late 1989 under the Tabansi Label.

After leaving Tabansi Records, he was signed to CBS Nigeria in the early 1990s and released So Long Too Long . It was included on Putumayo World Music 's first album. 

In 1990 he was signed to Interscope Records and released the critically acclaimed album Spirit Of Love , produced by "Little Steven" Van Zandt . 

In 1992, he appeared on Late Night with David Letterman in support of his new 1991 album, and performed the song "So Long Too Long" for the television audience. 

Flame Tree released The Best of Majek Fashek in 1994. He was later dropped by Interscope before moving to Mango, a division of Island Records , as it was more accustomed to marketing reggae internationally. His first album for the company included a cover version of Bob Marley 's "Redemption Song". He has recorded several albums for various labels since, including Rainmaker for Tuff Gong (1997) and Little Patience for Coral (2004).

Fashek's musical influences include Bob Marley – whom he resembles vocally – Jimi Hendrix , and Fela Kuti. 

He was one of the original Nigerian artists to be drawn to the music of the Caribbean, specifically reggae, rather than indigenous hybrids such as fuji , jùjú , but has been known to mix these genres into his own style which he calls kpangolo , and the song "My Guitar", an ode to his favourite instrument, was also heavily influenced by rock. 

Fashek played a supporting role in the 2000 Nollywood movie Mark of the Beast, and starred in a commercial for non-alcoholic beverage Diamalt. 

He has worked with various artists worldwide, including Tracy Chapman, Jimmy Cliff, Michael Jackson, Snoop Dog, etc.

He recently (2016) performed in a comedy show (with more than ten thousand audience in attendance) in Lagos, Nigeria, with a roundly power-filled and soul-lifting performance. 

In December 2016 Fashek contributed the song "We Are Not Afraid" to a video featuring 200 celebrities to raise funds for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Human Rights Watch (HRW).

He was married formerly married to Ms Rita, but they later divorced, they were blessed with four children.

He battled with an health issue for sometime and eventually died in his sleep on June 1st, 2020.

Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari was born on 24 November 1944 in Ilorin, Kwara State to a Fulani ruling class family. His nephew Ibrahim Sulu Gambari is the Emir of Illorin. 
He attended the Provincial (now Government) Secondary School, Ilorin before proceeding to the Floreat Collegium Kings College, Lagos. 

He received his BSc (Econs) degree from the London School of Economics (1968) and his MA and PhD in Political Science/International Relations (1970, 1974) from Columbia University, USA. 

He has taught at universities in the United States, Nigeria and Singapore and has to his credit the authorship of a number of books.

He the Founder/Chairman of the Board of Directors of Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy and Development, a non-governmental think-tank on research, policy studies, advocacy and training on the nexus between conflict prevention and resolution, democratization and development in Africa.

He has had an illustrious career, spanning academia, government and international diplomacy, culminating with his appointment as the first United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Africa (1999-2005). 

He was the Chairman of the United Nations Special Committee Against Apartheid (1990-1994) and on Peace-Keeping Operations (1990—1999). 

He was Head of the United Nations Department of Political Affairs (2005-2007) and also operated as UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy on Cyprus, Zimbabwe and Myanmar and Special Representative in Angola.

He was Minister of External Affairs from 1984-1985 and subsequently Ambassador/Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the United Nations (1990-1999). 

He also served as Joint AU/UN Special Representative in Darfur and Head of UNAMID (2010-2012). 

He is currently a Chairperson of the Panel of Eminent Persons of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM).

He has received several academic and national honours, including the “Commander of Federal Republic of Nigeria” (CFR), and the “Order of the Champion of the Oliver R. Tambo” (OCORT) of South Africa. He is the Pioneer Chancellor of the Kwara State University (KWASU), Ilorin, Nigeria, as well as the current Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Bayero University, Kano (BUK). He is married with children and grandchildren.

He assumed office as President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff on Wednesday 13th of May replacing Abba Kyari, who died from coronavirus complications in April.

Boss Mustapha was born in the North Eastern Nigerian state of Adamawa. He attended primary school in Hong, Adamawa and proceeded to North East College of Arts and Sciences in Maiduguri, Borno State for his high school education. He graduated in 1976. 

He received his  Bachelor of Law (LL.B) in 1979 from the prestigious  Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, and graduated from Nigeria Law School, Lagos in 1980, and was called to Nigerian bar in the same year.


He started his legal practice in Messrs Onagoruwa & Co in Lagos as a Counsel in 1983. He had a stint at an Italian consultancy firm Sotesa Nigeria Limited earlier. 

In 1994 he established his own law practice firm Messrs Mustapha & Associates and served as its Principal Counsel until 2000. He later worked in another law firm Adriot Lex & Co. serving as Principal Consultant from 2000 to 2006.


Mustapha has been elected and appointed member of several boards of companies in the manufacturing, financial services and oil and gas sectors both in Nigeria and international scene. 

He is a member of several professional bodies including Commonwealth Lawyers Association, African Bar Association, International Bar Association and Human Rights Institute. He has been described by many media reports as a "boardroam guru".


He ventured into politics in the 1980s after law graduation. Between 1988 and 1989 he was a member of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Constituent Assembly, the body that drafted the Nigeria's 1989 constitution. The constitution was only partially used in running the Nigeria's third republic between 1993 and 1999.

In 1989 Mustapha was the state chairman of the Peoples Solidarity Party (PSP) in defunct Gongola State but the party was among the several political parties disbanded by Babangida because they failed government's “litmus test”.


Between 1990 and 1991 Mustapha was Adamawa state chairman of the Social Democratic Party, one of the two state-created political parties during Ibrahim Babangida's regime. He ran unsuccessfully for Adamawa State governorship in 1991 under the party but lost to Abubakar Saleh Michika of National Republican Convention.


He was among the 7-man committee tasked by President Obasanjo to probe Muhammadu Buhari-led Petroleum Trust Fund in 2000. 

He served as the deputy director-general of the campaign organisation of Atiku Abubakar's failed presidential bid in 2007 general elections.

He was deputy national chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria. The party was among the 3 major parties that were merged to form the All Progressives Congress on 6 February 2013 in anticipation of the Nigeria's 2015 general elections.

After merger of their party he served in the presidential campaigns and was among the members of its transition committee in Nigeria's 2015 election that brought Muhammadu Buhari into power. He is also a member of the board of trustees of the party.

He was appointed Secretary to the Government of the Federation on 30 October 2017 following sack of Babachir David Lawal who has been on suspension six months earlier for misappropriating public funds.

He took oath of office on 1 November 2017 during a meeting of the Federal Executive Council, in the Council Chambers, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Kyari was born on 23 September 1952, to a Kanuri family from Borno. He attended St. Paul's College in Wusasa Zaria,

He was married to the sister-in-law of Ibrahim Tahir, and had four children, Aisha, Nurudeen, Ibrahim, Zainab.

He graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Warwick in 1980, and also obtained a law degree from the University of Cambridge was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1983 after attending the Nigerian Law School.

In 1984, he obtained a master's degree in law from the University of Cambridge. He later attended the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland, and in 1992 and 1994 participated in the Harvard Business School's Program for Leadership Development.
Upon his return to Nigeria he worked for the law firm Fani-Kayode and Sowemimo for some time.
From 1988 to 1990, he was Editor with the New Africa Holdings Limited Kaduna. He also served as a Commissioner for Forestry and Animal Resources in Borno State in the 1990s.

He was the secretary to the board of the African International Bank Limited, a subsidiary of Bank of Credit and Commerce International From 1990 to 1995.

He was an executive director in charge of management services at the United Bank for Africa, and was later appointed the chief executive officer. In 2002, he was appointed a board director of Unilever Nigeria, and later served on the board of Exxon Mobil Nigeria.

He was appointed Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari in August 2015, he quickly became an influential figure within the Buhari administration. During the administration's first term, he worked mainly behind the scenes to implement the president's agenda.

In 2019 with Buhari's re-election for a second term, Buhari ordered his cabinet to channel all requests through Kyari's office. Further enhancing his influence within government circles, and being labelled as the de facto head of government. He was undoubtedly the most powerful Chief of Staff Nigeria ever had.

In 2017, following a leaked memo, Kyari became embroiled in a public argument with the Head of Civil Service, who was later removed from office and arrested.

In 2020, in another leaked memo, Babagana Monguno the National Security Adviser accused Kyari of meddling in matters of national security.

On 24 March 2020, it was made public that Kyari tested positive for COVID-19 on 23 March, following an official trip to Germany nine days before. There were reports that he had been flown out of the country for treatment, and Reuters later reported he had "a history of medical complications, including diabetes".[

On 29 March 2020, in an official statement, Kyari announced he was being moved from isolation in Abuja to Lagos for "preventive treatment".

He died on the evening of 17 April 2020 at age 67. He was eulogized by The Economist as “a largely honourable man who went to the heart of a thoroughly corrupt and dysfunctional system, aiming to reform it—but who struggled to overcome its inertia amid a series of crises.”

Dr. Stella Chinyelu Okoli Biography

Stella was born in Kano State into the family of Felix Ebelechukwu and Margaret Modebelu, who are natives of Nnewi in Anambra State. She completed her primary education in 1954 at All Saint Primary School, Onistha, before proceeding to complete her secondary school education in 1964 at Ogidi Girls Secondary School, Ogidi.

She attended University of Bradford where she studied Pharmacy, and graduated in 1969. She later bagged M.Sc certificate in Biopharmaceutical from the University of London, Chelsea College in 1971.

She is  an entrepreneur, industrialist and a Pharmacist. She is the founder of Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, a popular pharmaceutical company that has produced drugs for over 30 years.

Before she established Emzor Pharmaceutical, Stella had worked in several pharmaceutical firms such as Pharma-Deko, Boots the Chemists Limited and Middlesex Hospital, London.

After working in various Pharmaceutical companies and gathered relevant experiences, she started Emzor Chemists Limited as a small retail shop in Shomolu, Lagos, before it later grew to become Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd in January 1977.

Emzor Pharmaceutical has since grown to become one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria with over 50 products since its incorporation.

Dr. Stella Okoli is the fourth richest woman in Nigeria according to 2019 Forbes rating and is worth over $500 million. She came only fourth behind Folorunsho Alakija, Bola Shagaya and Princess Fifi Ekanem Ejindu.

Born on December 5, 1965 in Gombe, North East Nigeria, Dr. Okonkwo is a Russian-trained Political Scientist and accomplished entrepreneur from Ogidi, Anambra State. 

High Chief Obiora Okonkwo holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Political Science (with distinction), from the Russian Academy of Science, Institute of World Economy and International Relations, Moscow, a Professional Fellowship Doctorate from the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria and Fellowship of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators and Mediators of  Nigeria. 

He earned a Master of Science Degree in Economics, also with distinction, from the Russian Peoples Friendship University in Moscow and a first class in economics from the Russian Peoples Friendship University in Moscow. He had his early education in Onitsha, Anambra state where he combined trading at the Main Market and managing a horde of apprentices, with schooling.

He is the winner of the prestigious The Sun Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 award; an award bestowed on him by the management of The Sun Newspapers in March 2020, for his entrepreneurial vision and dexterity in business through which he has created wealth and jobs. 

Earlier in February, he was presented with the maiden Dr. Michael Okpara Leadership Prize in Business. The honour came off the Dr. Michael Okpara Foundation, a foundation dedicated to propagating the ideals of the late Premier of the old Eastern Region.

He is noted for his exceptional philanthropy and dedicated support for humanitarian and religious causes with several Nigerians now in European, American and Nigerian universities enjoying his education scholarship offered through Joseph Okonkwo Foundation, a foundation dedicated to the memory of his father.

In July 2019 was conferred with the prestigious honour of Business Philanthropist of the Year by the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Business School, otherwise known as UNIZIK Business School, is also the Founder and Chairman, Board of Trustee of Pro-Value Humanity Foundation, a foundation set up to recreate humanity by creating a society where the human person is at the center of development. It also seeks to transform society by reorienting values for authentic human development.

He is also the 2019 Face of Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), an annual event of Rotary International which brings together youths from across the globe to leadership and entrepreneurial training. To demonstrate his support for the programme, he sponsored 10 students of the Unizik Business School to the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.

He is a devout Catholic, which is evident in the name of his two aircrafts known as ‘’Our Mother Mary of Miracle’’ and ‘’Blessed Iwene Tansi’’. Blessed Iwene Tansi was the late Catholic priest from Aguleri, Anambra State that was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1997.
 
He is a Knight of the Order of King Leopold, the highest national honour bestowed on foreign nationals by the King of Belgium, also holds the traditional titles of Mbuba Anafolu Mbulu N’Ukpa by all traditional rulers of Anambra Central Senatorial district, Dikeora Idemili, InweleOgidi Inwele, Ugegbe Igbo, EbekuoDike and Ugobueze.

Hon. Philip Shaibu is cerrently the Deputy Governor of Edo state, He was born on December 1, 1969,  He hails from Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.

He obtained his Senior School Certificate in 1989 at Sardauna Memorial College. and graduated with a Bachelor of science (B.Sc) degree in Accounting in the year 2000 from the University of Jos, Plateau State and Masters degree from the University of Benin, Edo State in the year 2015.

After his graduation He worked with the Nigeria Prisons Services, Abuja and retired as Assistant Inspector of Prisons in the year 2002.

He served as Special Adviser on Labour, Youth and Students Matters, to Governor Lucky Igbinedion between the years 2006 and 2007.

He was a member of the Edo State House of Assebly. and Federal House of Representatives, representing Etsako East/West/Central Federal Constituency of Edo State of Nigeria under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

His Legislative Interests border on law making and constituency project development. He executed many constituency projects in his community as a member of state assembly doubled the projects as a member of House of Representatives.
 
He was elected as Edo state Deputy Governor on the platform of the APC on 28th September, 2016 and sworn in on 12th Nov, 2016

Philip Shaibu an indigene of Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, was born on December 1, 1969. He is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Etsako East/West/Central Federal Constituency of Edo State of Nigeria under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC). He attended Sardauna Memorial College and sat for Senior School Certificate Examination in the year 1989. He was admitted into the University of Jos, Plateau State in 1995 and graduated with a Bachelor of science (B.Sc) degree in Accounting in the year 2000. In the year 2003, he did his Computer Appreciation Course at Pabais Computer School, Abuja. He later studied further up to his Masters degree, which he obtained from the University of Benin, Edo State in the year 2015. While in the university, Philip Shaibu became the president of the National Association of the Nigeria Students (NANS). After his graduation Philip worked with the Nigeria Prisons Services, Abuja and retired as Assistant Inspector of Prisons in the year 2002. When Nigeria returned to Democracy, Philip Shaibu served as Special Adviser on Labour, Youth and Students Matters, to Governor Lucky Igbinedion between the years 2006 and 2007. He was elected as a member of the Edo State House of Assebly. Later in time, Philip was elected into the Federal House of Representatives, where he represents Etsako East/West/Central Federal Constituency of Edo State Nigeria under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC). His Legislative Interests border on law making and constituency project development. He executed many constituency projects in his community as a member of state assembly and now intends to double the projects as a member of House of Representatives.

Mrs Betsy Obaseki is the wife of the Governor of Edo state, Mr. Godwin Obaseki. She is a financial expert by profession.

She holds a B.Sc and MSc. in Accounting from the University of Lagos and is an alumnus of the Kellog’s School of Business Executive Management Program, USA.   Mrs Obaseki has been very active in this campaign, meeting with women leaders, market women, Christian women.


She is the Managing Director/CEO, BOI Investment and Trust Company Limited. She served and rose to the position of Assistant General Manager & Head- Strategic Planning in the Bank of Industry Limited.

As an Entrepreneur, she established Beeba Ventures Limited, a general merchandise company and grew the company’s operations in volume and earnings by developing a profitable and specialized line of product, involving fabrication of African heritage museum pieces in gold plated miniature sizes.


She is currently the first lady of Edo state.

Godwin Obaseki is the current Governor of Edo State, He was born in Benin City, Nigeria, to the famous and illustrious Obaseki family.

He had his early education in St. Matthews Anglican Primary School Benin City from where he proceeded to Eghosa Anglican Grammer School, Benin City for his secondary schoool eductaion. He attended the University of Ibadan where he obtained a BA in Classics. He also attended Columbia University and Pace University in New York and has an MBA in Finance

He was the pioneering and Chairman of the Edo State Economic and Strategy Team which was inaugurated by Governor Adams Oshiomole in March 2009.

He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and an alumnus of the Lagos Business School Chief Executive Program.

He served as Managing Director and Director of Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited and served as its Chairman of the Board until June 2016.

In 1995, He founded SecTrust, the predecessor company to Afrinvest, pioneering major innovations and providing leadership in the Nigerian stock market.

He has served on the Presidential Committee on the Reform of the Nigerian Pension System. He also served on the Committee on the Re-activation of the Nigerian Bond Market set up by the Securities and Exchange Commission. He is an active member of The NSE and currently serves on its Governing Council. 

He has also served on many of the committees of The Exchange. In 2001, Mr. Obaseki was nominated Global Leader of Tomorrow (GLT) by the World Economic Forum. 

He was elected as Edo state Governor on the platform of the APC on 28th September, 2016 and sworn in on 12th Nov, 2016

Oluyemi Oluleke Osinbajo is the Vice President of Nigeria, born 8 March 1957 into the family of Opeoluwa Osinbajo, at Creek Hospital, Lagos.

He had his primary education at Corona primary School, in Lagos. Between 1969–1975, and proceeded to Igbobi College Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. From 1975–1978, Prof. He was educated at the University of Lagos, Nigeria (LLB, 1978) and the London School of Economics (LLM, 1980). He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1979.

 He served the compulsory one year youth services as a legal officer with Bendel Development and Planning Authority (BDPA), Bendel state. From 1979–1980,

In 1981, he was employed as a law lecturer at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. From 1983 to 1986, he was Senior lecturer of Law at the University of Lagos. From 1988 to 1992, he was an Adviser (legal advice and litigation) to the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Bola Ajibola.

From 1997 to 1999 he was made Professor of Law and Head of Department of Public Law, University of Lagos. From 1999 to 2007, Osinbajo was Member of Cabinet, Lagos State Ministry of Justice, also Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.

From 2007 to 2013 Osinbajo was once again employed as a Professor of Law, Department of Public Law, Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. In 2007, Osinbanjo was made Senior Partner, Simmons Cooper Partners (Barristers and Solicitors), Nigeria. Osinbajo was also a senior lecturer at the Lagos State University. He was also;

After the formation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2013, Yemi was tasked, with other notable Nigerians, to design and produce a manifesto for the new political party. This culminated in the presentation of the "Roadmap to a New Nigeria" , a document published by APC as its manifesto if elected to power . The highlights of the Roadmap included a free schools meal plan, a conditional cash transfer to the 25 million poorest Nigerians if they enroll children in school and immunise them. There were also a number of programs designed to create economic opportunities for Nigeria's massive youth population.

On 17 December 2014 the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, retired General Muhammadu Buhari, announced Osinbajo as his running mate and vice-presidential candidate for the 2015 general elections. 

On 31 March 2015 Buhari was confirmed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the winner of the presidential elections. Thus Osinbajo became the Vice President-elect of Nigeria. They were both sworn in on 29 May 2015.

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is a pastor of the Redeem Christian Church. He was the Pastor in charge of the Lagos Province 48, Olive Tree provincial headquarter parish, Ikoyi before his inauguration into office as the Vice President of Nigeria.

Biography of Darlington Nwokocha

Darlington Nwokocha


Darlington Nwokocha is a member of the Federal House of Representative, representing the Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal
Constituency of Abia Sate. Darlington was born in the year 1967 and hails from Isialangwa in Abia State of Nigeria.


He attended Umunneise Secondary School, where he obtained West African School Certificate (WASC) in the year 1985. In the year 1992, he obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree (Bsc) from the University of PortHarcourt. He went further to obtain MSc., from Abia State University Uturu Okigwe. He also studied and obtained a PGDPA from the University of Benin in the year 2007.

Darlington is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria.


Between the years 2007 and 2011, Darlington was a member of the Abia State House of Assembly. In the year 2011, he retained his seat in the state house of assembly after the general election, a position he held until 2015 when he won election to represent his constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.


His legislative Interests lies in the areas that will bring or create a balance between the government and Human Development, especially on Public Accounting and Education. He has also set Human And Social Development Capacity as his targeted achievements.

Biography of Samuel Onuigbo

Samuel Ifeanyi Onuigbo
SAMUEL ONUIGBO is a member of the Federal House of Representatives of Nigeria, representing  Ikwuano/Umuahaia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency. He hails from
Umuahia, in Abia State of Nigeria. Samuel was born in the year 1960.

He attended Orbod Secondary Commercial School where he sat for the General Certificate Examination (GCE) in the year 1979. He Proceeded to Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, where he obtained  National Certificate Of Education in 1983. In the year 2000, Samuel Onuigbo obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Enugu State University.

Onuigbo’s legislative interest border on education, creation of employment for the youths, prudent management of human and material resources. His target achievements includes to enact laws that have potential to create employment for the youths of Nigeria who constitute over 70% of the Nigerian population.

Biography of Nnenna Ukeje

Nnenna Ukeje
Nnenna Ukeje represents Bende Federal Constituency, Abia State at the Federal House of Representatives. was born Nnenna Ijeoma Elendu Ukeje to Captain Elendu-Ukeje, who was a decorated pilot with the Nigerian Air Force and Nigerian Airways, and Justice Rosaline Elendu-Ukeje, who served as Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, 
She hails from Alayi, Abia State.

Nnenna Ukeje had her Secondary education at Federal Government Girls College, Owerri, Imo State, after which she attended both the University of Benin, Edo State and the University of Lagos and graduated with a bachelor's degree in education.

After her University education, Ukeje began her career as a successful hotel administrator. In the year 2007, she was elected into the Federal House of Representative to represent the Bende Federal Constituency, Abia State under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (Nigeria). In 2011, she was re-elected into the same position.

Nnenna Ukeje is known in the Federal House for always being concerned about the diplomatic relations between Nigeria and other African nations. She serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and her views on national issues are often adjudged as the true assessment of the state of the nation.
She expedited the passage into law of the Nigerian Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) which has been before the Nigerian National Assembly for a very long time and has generated a lot of hot debates in the public domain.

PRESTIGE OSSY CHINEDU EHIRIODO is a member of the Nigerian Federal House of Representatives representing Aba North/Aba South Federal Constituencies of Abia State, Nigeria under the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance. He was born in the year 1965 and hails from the Agboji community of Abiriba in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.

He obtained his West African School Certificate in 1983 from Mbutu Ngwa Secondary School, Abia State. After his secondary school, Prestige attended Abia State University, Uturu Okigwe where he studied Government and Public Administration, and graduated in 1999 with a BSc. He also holds MBA in Shipping and Logistics which he acquired from Lloyds Maritime Academy London, United Kingdom, and an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Administration gotten from Commonwealth University in Belize, South America.

Before he became a Legislator,  Hon. Prestige Ossy has been a Customs Broker, Maritime Services Provider, Shipping Consultant and Importer of diverse Products. His business is so diversified that it transverses all sectors of Nigerian Economy making him a major Employer of labour. 

He is the Chairman/Managing Director of Prestige Brokers Ltd.

He was elected into the Federal House of Representatives in the year 2015.

Uko Nkole Ndukwe is a Registered Town Planner and a member of the Federal House of Representarives representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency of Abia Sate under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party. He was born on October 20, 1975. He is a native of Abam Onyereubi in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State.


in 1993 he sat for and passed Senior School Certificate Examination at Ovukwu Secondary School,  He obtained a BSc. In Marketing from the University of Nigeria Nsuka. He also did his Post Graduate Diploma at the Nigerian Institute of Town Planning.
After his University education, 

He worked with federal capital territory administration as a town planner in development control. He was a member of the Adhoc committee on restoration of Abuja master plan. He was also a past secretary of Presidential Committee on International Affairs, He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners.

Solomon Adaelu Ezinwa is a member representing  Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugbunagbo Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party. born in 1972, hails from Osisioma, Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State.

He attended Federal University of Technology, Owerri.

He was the Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Neschem ind. prod.ltd.

He had served Imo State as a commissioner in the year 2010, and won the award of the best Commissioner in the South-East of Nigeria.

At the Federal House of Representatives, Solomon is a member of the Maritime Safety, Education and Administration Committee. He has interest in legislating for child/woman care by the society. His target achievement includes to help build and strengthen democratic process and institutions in Nigeria.

ONYEJEOCHA NKEIRUKA is a member of the Federal House of Representative, representing Isuikwato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia State of Nigeria, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). She is a native of Isuochi in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State. she was born on November 23, 1969,

She attended Isuochi Secondary School/Ovim Girls where she sat for and passed her Senior School Certificate Examination in 1984. She obtained her B.A from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1993 and her Masters Degree from Imo State University in 2005.
She worked as Managing Director of Nikkings and Kingzol International Ltd. She was later appointed the Commisioner for Manpower Development in Abia State where she established skill acquisition centers across Abia State. She also served as a local government chairman in Abia State,  where she presided over the affairs of the council.


She was first elected member of the Federal House of Representatives in 2007, and later re-elected in 2015.
At the National Assembly, Nkeiruka became the chairman of women in parliament and chairman, House Committee on Aviation.
Her Legislative Interests border on sponsoring bills that will enhance the standard of living for children, women, youths and the less privilege; education and infrastructure including health and aviation sector. Her Target Achievements includes delivery of good and lasting democratic dividends to her constituency and Nigeria at large through responsive legislation.

Biography of Nkem Abonta Uzoma

Nkem Abonta Uzoma is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency of Abia State under the plat-form of the Peoples Democratic Party. He was born on January 18, 1962, to Mr and Mrs John Nkem Abonta of Akwete in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State.


He attended St. Raphel Primary School Obehie (now known as Central School, Obehie) between 1970 and 1974 , Stella Maris College Port Harcourt between 1974 and 1979, and finally University of Jos between 1984 and 1988, from where he bagged the prestigious Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree. At the same university, he also obtained a Master's degree in Law between 1990 and 1992.
Prior to being elected into the Federal House of Representatives, Nkem was a Councilor and a member of the State House of Assembly in Abia State.


He was elected into the Federal House of Representatives in the Year 2007, and was re-elected in the year 2015. At the Federal House of Representatives, Nkem is a member of the Committee on Public Petitions.

Biography of Yusuf Buba

Yusuf Buba is a member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Hong/Gombi Federeal Constituency of Adamawa State under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC). He was born in 1968.

He obtained his West African Examination in the year 1985. from Government Secondary School, Maiha, He has Advance Diploma in Business Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University; Diploma in law from College For Legal Studies Yola; and BSc., in Polytechnics from University of Abuja.
After his education and prior to being elected into the Federal House of Representatives, Yusuf founded and became the Chairman/Managing Director of Yubu Ventures Nigeria Limited, a company whose object is commercial farming and real estate development.

He was elected into the Federal House of Representatives in the year 2015.
