Tijjani Yahaya Kaura - a former Minister, SSG and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was born on January 1, 1960. He is an indigene of Zamfara State.
He was a former Minister of State for Foreign affairs. Tijjani Yahaya Kaura defected from the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) to the All Progressive Congress(APC). He was thereafter made a Secretary to the State Goverment, a month after his defection.
In 2015, under the platform of the All Progressive Congress(APC), He contested for the Senatorial seat in Zamfara North constituency and won.
