Darlington Nwokocha


Darlington Nwokocha is a member of the Federal House of Representative, representing the Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal
Constituency of Abia Sate. Darlington was born in the year 1967 and hails from Isialangwa in Abia State of Nigeria.


He attended Umunneise Secondary School, where he obtained West African School Certificate (WASC) in the year 1985. In the year 1992, he obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree (Bsc) from the University of PortHarcourt. He went further to obtain MSc., from Abia State University Uturu Okigwe. He also studied and obtained a PGDPA from the University of Benin in the year 2007.

Darlington is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria.


Between the years 2007 and 2011, Darlington was a member of the Abia State House of Assembly. In the year 2011, he retained his seat in the state house of assembly after the general election, a position he held until 2015 when he won election to represent his constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.


His legislative Interests lies in the areas that will bring or create a balance between the government and Human Development, especially on Public Accounting and Education. He has also set Human And Social Development Capacity as his targeted achievements.

Samuel Ifeanyi Onuigbo
SAMUEL ONUIGBO is a member of the Federal House of Representatives of Nigeria, representing  Ikwuano/Umuahaia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency. He hails from
Umuahia, in Abia State of Nigeria. Samuel was born in the year 1960.

He attended Orbod Secondary Commercial School where he sat for the General Certificate Examination (GCE) in the year 1979. He Proceeded to Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, where he obtained  National Certificate Of Education in 1983. In the year 2000, Samuel Onuigbo obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Enugu State University.

Onuigbo’s legislative interest border on education, creation of employment for the youths, prudent management of human and material resources. His target achievements includes to enact laws that have potential to create employment for the youths of Nigeria who constitute over 70% of the Nigerian population.

Biography of Nnenna Ukeje

Nnenna Ukeje
Nnenna Ukeje represents Bende Federal Constituency, Abia State at the Federal House of Representatives. was born Nnenna Ijeoma Elendu Ukeje to Captain Elendu-Ukeje, who was a decorated pilot with the Nigerian Air Force and Nigerian Airways, and Justice Rosaline Elendu-Ukeje, who served as Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, 
She hails from Alayi, Abia State.

Nnenna Ukeje had her Secondary education at Federal Government Girls College, Owerri, Imo State, after which she attended both the University of Benin, Edo State and the University of Lagos and graduated with a bachelor's degree in education.

After her University education, Ukeje began her career as a successful hotel administrator. In the year 2007, she was elected into the Federal House of Representative to represent the Bende Federal Constituency, Abia State under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (Nigeria). In 2011, she was re-elected into the same position.

Nnenna Ukeje is known in the Federal House for always being concerned about the diplomatic relations between Nigeria and other African nations. She serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and her views on national issues are often adjudged as the true assessment of the state of the nation.
She expedited the passage into law of the Nigerian Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) which has been before the Nigerian National Assembly for a very long time and has generated a lot of hot debates in the public domain.

PRESTIGE OSSY CHINEDU EHIRIODO is a member of the Nigerian Federal House of Representatives representing Aba North/Aba South Federal Constituencies of Abia State, Nigeria under the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance. He was born in the year 1965 and hails from the Agboji community of Abiriba in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.

He obtained his West African School Certificate in 1983 from Mbutu Ngwa Secondary School, Abia State. After his secondary school, Prestige attended Abia State University, Uturu Okigwe where he studied Government and Public Administration, and graduated in 1999 with a BSc. He also holds MBA in Shipping and Logistics which he acquired from Lloyds Maritime Academy London, United Kingdom, and an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Administration gotten from Commonwealth University in Belize, South America.

Before he became a Legislator,  Hon. Prestige Ossy has been a Customs Broker, Maritime Services Provider, Shipping Consultant and Importer of diverse Products. His business is so diversified that it transverses all sectors of Nigerian Economy making him a major Employer of labour. 

He is the Chairman/Managing Director of Prestige Brokers Ltd.

He was elected into the Federal House of Representatives in the year 2015.

Uko Nkole Ndukwe is a Registered Town Planner and a member of the Federal House of Representarives representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency of Abia Sate under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party. He was born on October 20, 1975. He is a native of Abam Onyereubi in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State.


in 1993 he sat for and passed Senior School Certificate Examination at Ovukwu Secondary School,  He obtained a BSc. In Marketing from the University of Nigeria Nsuka. He also did his Post Graduate Diploma at the Nigerian Institute of Town Planning.
After his University education, 

He worked with federal capital territory administration as a town planner in development control. He was a member of the Adhoc committee on restoration of Abuja master plan. He was also a past secretary of Presidential Committee on International Affairs, He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners.

Solomon Adaelu Ezinwa is a member representing  Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugbunagbo Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party. born in 1972, hails from Osisioma, Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State.

He attended Federal University of Technology, Owerri.

He was the Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Neschem ind. prod.ltd.

He had served Imo State as a commissioner in the year 2010, and won the award of the best Commissioner in the South-East of Nigeria.

At the Federal House of Representatives, Solomon is a member of the Maritime Safety, Education and Administration Committee. He has interest in legislating for child/woman care by the society. His target achievement includes to help build and strengthen democratic process and institutions in Nigeria.

Biography of Nkeiruka Onyejeocha

ONYEJEOCHA NKEIRUKA is a member of the Federal House of Representative, representing Isuikwato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia State of Nigeria, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). She is a native of Isuochi in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State. she was born on November 23, 1969,

She attended Isuochi Secondary School/Ovim Girls where she sat for and passed her Senior School Certificate Examination in 1984. She obtained her B.A from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1993 and her Masters Degree from Imo State University in 2005.
She worked as Managing Director of Nikkings and Kingzol International Ltd. She was later appointed the Commisioner for Manpower Development in Abia State where she established skill acquisition centers across Abia State. She also served as a local government chairman in Abia State,  where she presided over the affairs of the council.


She was first elected member of the Federal House of Representatives in 2007, and later re-elected in 2015.
At the National Assembly, Nkeiruka became the chairman of women in parliament and chairman, House Committee on Aviation.
Her Legislative Interests border on sponsoring bills that will enhance the standard of living for children, women, youths and the less privilege; education and infrastructure including health and aviation sector. Her Target Achievements includes delivery of good and lasting democratic dividends to her constituency and Nigeria at large through responsive legislation.

Biography of Nkem Abonta Uzoma

Nkem Abonta Uzoma is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency of Abia State under the plat-form of the Peoples Democratic Party. He was born on January 18, 1962, to Mr and Mrs John Nkem Abonta of Akwete in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State.


He attended St. Raphel Primary School Obehie (now known as Central School, Obehie) between 1970 and 1974 , Stella Maris College Port Harcourt between 1974 and 1979, and finally University of Jos between 1984 and 1988, from where he bagged the prestigious Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree. At the same university, he also obtained a Master's degree in Law between 1990 and 1992.
Prior to being elected into the Federal House of Representatives, Nkem was a Councilor and a member of the State House of Assembly in Abia State.


He was elected into the Federal House of Representatives in the Year 2007, and was re-elected in the year 2015. At the Federal House of Representatives, Nkem is a member of the Committee on Public Petitions.

Biography of Yusuf Buba

Yusuf Buba is a member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Hong/Gombi Federeal Constituency of Adamawa State under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC). He was born in 1968.

He obtained his West African Examination in the year 1985. from Government Secondary School, Maiha, He has Advance Diploma in Business Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University; Diploma in law from College For Legal Studies Yola; and BSc., in Polytechnics from University of Abuja.
After his education and prior to being elected into the Federal House of Representatives, Yusuf founded and became the Chairman/Managing Director of Yubu Ventures Nigeria Limited, a company whose object is commercial farming and real estate development.

He was elected into the Federal House of Representatives in the year 2015.

He attended Government Secondary School, Yola and obtained a General Certificate of Education (G.C.E), in 1981. He obtained an LL.B in Law from Ahmadu Bello Univeristy, Zaria. In 1987 and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Maiduguri in 1996 and also Masters in Law in the same university in 2005.

After his education, Abubakar  embarked in legal practice. He became one of his state’s Council members between 1989-1991. Between 1993-2005, he was in the banking sector. SIGMA PENSION LTD  engaged him between 2005 and 2007. He also served MORTAGE PRIMARY BANK from 2007-2010. He founded an ESTATE DEVELOPMENT  Company where he was engaged from 2009-2014.

Abubakar was elected into the Federal House of Representatives as a Legislature. At the Federal House, In 2015. He is a member of the committee on Constituency Outreach.

His Legislative Interests border on mass housing development, banking, judiciary, maritime transport, pension. He targets to achieve the fixing of the 7 million houses deficit problem surfferd by Nigerians and solve the problem of non-payment of pension, and of corruption in judiciary and banking sectors.

Kabir Garba Marafa is a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he was born on September 16, 1960. He hails from Zamfara State. 
 
He attended Kaduna Polytechnic where he graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Chemical Engineering.

He was previously a commissioner in Zamfara State. He defected from the PDP- Peoples Democratic Party to the ANPP- All Nigerian Peoples Congress just before the 2011 elections and contested for the senatorial seat in Zamfara Central senatorial District. He won the then incumbent- Senator Hassan Muhammed Nasina- also known as Hassan Gusau who contested under the platform of the PDP. 


Kabir Garba Marafa again contested for the seat under the Platform of the APC-All Progressive Party in the 2015 elections and won as the Senator representing Zamfara Central Senatorial District.

Tijjani Yahaya Kaura -  a former Minister, SSG and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was born on January 1, 1960. He is an indigene of Zamfara State.

He was a former Minister of State for Foreign affairs. Tijjani Yahaya Kaura defected from the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) to the All Progressive Congress(APC). He was thereafter made a Secretary to the State Goverment, a month after his defection.

Ahmed Rufai Sani Yerima is a Former Governor and presently a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he was born on July 22, 1960 in Anka Town in Zamfara State. 
 
Ahmed Rufai Sani attended Sokoto College of Arts and Science and completed in 1978.
 
to obtain a B.Sc in Economics from Bayero University, Kano in 1982, and an Msc  in 1987.

He worked in the Borno State Budget Department of the Governor's office and also taught at the Borno College of Basic Studies, As a Youth Corps member, 
 
He began his career in 1983 as an economic planning officer in the Ministry of Finance in the Sokoto Civil Service. He thereafter worked with various Federal Government bodies, including the National Directorate of Employment from 1988 to 1990, and the Central Bank of Nigeria between 1990 and 1993.

In 1994, he returned to the Sokoto state civil service as the Director of Budget in the Ministry of Finance, holding this position until the creation of Zamfara State in October 1996. He was then appointed Director-General of Lands and Housing, later becoming Permanent Secretary in the same department.

In September 1998 he left the civil service to pursue a career in Politics.

He was elected Governor of Zamfara State in 1999. He was re-elected in 2003 for a second term, which ended on 29 May 2007.

He is the first Nigerian Governor to implement Sharia law in his state, which came into effect on 27 January 2000. Zamfara's law adopted Sharia in its entirety, with the exceptions that apostasy was not criminalised and all sentences can be appealed to Nigeria's Federal Courts, which do not permit Traditional Hudud Punishments. However, some of the changes introduced affected all citizens of the state. The sale and consumption of alcohol and prostitution were subject to a state-wide ban.
Sharia implementation bodies were established in Zamfara, including the Council of Ulama, Hisbah Commission, Zakkat and Endowment Board, Sharia Research and Development Board, and the Preaching Commission.
He however made sure that all non-Muslims in Zamfara were able to choose civil law rather than Sharia law when faced with legal proceedings. 

Ahmad Rufai Sani Yerima sought for the presidential ticket under the Platform of the ANPP in 2007 but withdrew from the contest at the party's 2007 national convention to back former Head of State Muhammadu Buhari as the ANPP candidate.

Ahmed Rufai Sani Yerima contested and  was elected Senator representing Zamfara West constituency under the All Nigeria People's Party in April 2007.

Ahmed Rufai Sani Yerima ran again in the 9 April 2011 elections for Senator for Zamfara West on the ANPP platform. He was again reelected. 
In 2015, under the Platform of the All Progressive Congress(APC) he again contested for the Senatorial seat and won to represent Zamfara West Senatorial District.

Biography of Yahaya Bello

Yahaya Bello
Yahaya Bello is the current Governor of Kogi State, he was born on 18th of 1June 1975 in Agassa, Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State to the family of Alhaji Bello Ipemida Ochi and Hajia Hawa Bello Oziohu. He is the last of six siblings. 
 
He started his education in 1984 in LGEA Primary School, Agassa In Okene LGA where he obtained his FLSC. In 1994 he obtained his SSCE from Government Secondary School, Suleja-Niger State,  He immediately enrolled for ‘A’ level exams in Kaduna State Polytechnic Zaria in 1995 and proceeded to the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University ABU Zaria in 1996 to study Accounting. He graduated in 1999. 

His unquenchable thirst for higher education took him back to Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria for Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2002. He bagged the degree in 2004. Whilst pursuing his Masters he also enrolled for professional certification with the Association of National Accountant of Nigeria (ANAN) at Jos (2002) and became a chattered fellow of ANAN in 2004.

He started working in 2001 when he was posted to Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) for his NYSC mandatory service to his fatherland. He distinguished himself during the course of the service and was offered an appointment in the same office as Revenue Officer II. His hard work singled him out for promotion to accountant in a very short period. He was later transferred to head the Makurdi Zonal office Account Department. He has worked in various departments in the office and has risen to the post of Assistant Chief Accountant. It is worthy of note to state that Alhaji Yahaya Bello has served meritoriously and contributed his quota to the development of his father land. Alhaji Yahaya Bello is married with children.

Applying his entrepreneurial skills, Alhaji Yahaya Bello mastered the art of informed stock trading and had a financial breakthrough right before the crash of the stock market. His stock portfolio investments cut across the oil and gas, finance, transportation, and agro related sectors. 

He is an astute business man and the Managing Director of FairPlus International Ltd and also the Director of Kogi Youth Arise Forum. 

It is worthy to note that his various businesses helped facilitate job opportunities for a number of unemployed graduates and youth particularly Kogi State indigenes.

Alhaji Yahaya Bello is a philanthropist per excellence. He currently funds three orphanage homes and sponsors hundreds of Kogi State undergraduates in various higher institutions both within and outside the country. His strong drive for community development inspired him to invest in various community projects.

He began his political journey by joining other progressive young men and women to form Kogi Youth Arise Group. This group threw its weight behind the candidature of Buhari/Osinbajo in the last presidential election. This group was also responsible for mobilizing youths across the 239 wards in the State in support of President Buhari. 

With the teeming support from youths across the state for one of their own to lead Kogi into a brighter future, he presented himself to vie for the position of Governor in the gubernatorial election of 2015 under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). His mandate however came about after the death of Audu Abubakar, the winner of the 2015 Governorship elections who died of a heart attack shortly after the declaration of the election results announcing him the winner.
He loves reading, traveling, driving, soccer and boxing.
